A very pretty young elf maiden. She's tall for an elf, but not too much. Her skin is a soft and almost shining copper tone. She keeps her silky brown hair tied in a tones of small braids. Her eyes are an emerald green soft and caring, she seems fairely intelligent and wise as well. They are also somewhat happy and have kept some inocence in them. They seems more fit to look into beauty then uglyness. She doesn't wear any armor, prefering to use her magic to ward herself. A used but very well tended bow is stored in her back with her arrows. At her side is a scimitar, well tended to as well, but perhaps not as much used. Her lips seems made to smile and laught. Even if there is some deep sadness in her eyes, she seems to be the kind of people you can't keep yourself from liking. The one that bounds easily with every one, and care for them all.

    Background:

Aravae was born in the hidden elven city of Semberholme located in the southwest of Cormanthor Forest. Her parents were both Wood Elves and bore two children, the other being his older brother. She developed a strong bond with him and continues to care for her brother deeply. She refers to him often as "Araegisess" (‘Great Protector’) in a teasing, yet affectionate way. Most often, she use that nickname when he becomes too overprotective. She usualy is good enought to slip throught that protection when it becomes to heavy, but not always. She cares deeply fro him though and sometimes will just bear it for is sake.

Aravae's parents were both consummate adventures. Her father was an accomplished ranger and scout. Her mother was an established arcane archer. Both passed down what knowledge they could to prepare their children for the world. Aravae was instructed mostly by her mother and the other hunters of the village. The training was difficult and daily, but Aravae dedicated herself with happyness to learn the aracane as well as the bowmastering. Her mother was of an happy sort as well, but her training was no less harder, yet Aravae learned a lot and gaved all she had to be the best possible. Aravae spent her days training and having fun doing it. She was a bit sad for her brothers who didn't and was so serious. She would often tries to make him smile or amuse him just for the fun of it. She was training hard, but knew as well, that it didn't mean she could not have fun and enjoy it. However those happy family moments were cut short for the very young elf she was at the moment.

Both of Aravae's parents were killed during an orc raid leaving herself and her brother orphaned with no other family. She was fourthy at this time. The death of her parents wounded Aravae deeply. She vowed to herself, that she would not let those filty creatures killed some of her loved one ever again. Still, she decided not to let herself be devour by hatred. As her brother, she learned how to kill the orcs, how they lived, what was their weekness, but it was to protect rather then out of hatred. Her brother's pain was greater then hers, and eventually became too great for them to remain in the village. They would leave Semberholme promising to avenge their parents, but mostly for the elven maid, to make sure her brother didn't lost himself in his attempt to avenge their parents. She was also very curious to see the world, and this was a way to see it, and still care for her brother and don't leave him. Not that she couldn't, but she knew that would she leave him behind, he cared for her too deeply and it would destroy him. So she followed him.

An other would accompany them, her most trusted and oldest friend. They befriended when they were just kids and their friendship keep growing with time. Even as now adult, they were almost unseparable and viewed eachother almost as sister, even if not of blood. Leaving Semberholme the three understood that the village's location must remain hidden and made a pact of secrecy.

Their travels led them to Shadowvale. In this new place, Aravae promised herself not to let her brother loose himself in is desire of revenge, and to teach him to leave her a bit more space to grow. They are following a rumor that the elves are trying to recover and rebuild Myth Drannor. She is trilled to be part of such an adventure, and so curious to see the legendary city. She is impatient to see it's marvels and learn more.
