Before you stands a sun-elf that is taller and slightly bulkier than most. His face is deeply tanned as befitting one who has spent a good deal of time under the sun. His dirty blonde hair is tied back in a pony tail with a red ribbon. At his left hip a single rapier is sheathed in an ornate scabbard with Elven writing carved into the length. For those that comprehend the elven tongue the writing says "I walk in the light but darkness surrounds me."
Biography:
Sylwyn grew up in Evermeet as part of his minor noble house Gallyn. His family is known for frequent births of twins as his father and uncle were, as well as his cousins. His household is also well known for producing bladesingers. His father and uncle were both bladesingers, as well as his cousin Ael'wyn. All of whom became his earliest mentors. However, as soon as Sylwyn came of age and completed his basic bladesinger training his cousin Ael'wyn took him to the docks and "booted" him on to a ship with a rapier and a small satchel. While waving goodbye from the docks, his cousin shouted to him "there is a time when every Gallyn must make his or her mark on the world, and your time is now. Go and get some worldly experience!" Thus began Sylwyn's journey.
Sylwyn's journey didn't immediately land upon the mainland. Instead, he found himself upon the remote isle of Arelith. Upon this isle, Sylwyn had found a group of friends as well as his love - the Princess Esta'rithrillia. However, during significant political strife, the guards of the elven-city of the isle witnessed the Princess fall off the edge of the magically floating city. Sylwyn mourned the princess's passing for many years, and upon completing various responsibilities within the isle, he decided to depart for another place where he may be reminded less of the love that he had lost so early.
So begins Sylwyn's journey upon the mainland within the Dale.
Personality:
Sylwyn grew up within an extremely close knit minor noble family, and displays mannerisms that are fitting for a noble. However, as he grows closer to individuals he seems to become slightly more crude as he reverts to mannerisms that he was used to within close family. Bullying in jest and harmless pranks were frequent within his household and he thus displays this type of mannerism with those he is closest to.
